Themed Music Camps Australia (TMCA) is the new home of holiday music camps from the Toowoomba Regional Youth Orchestra.
It brings together years of experience running large-scale music camps — now under a name designed to welcome musicians from across Queensland and beyond.
A familiar experience — with a broader reach
A new home for a growing camp community.
Since 2020, the team behind TRYO has been running annual holiday music camps, bringing together around 100 young musicians at a time to rehearse, connect, and perform.

What began as part of a regional orchestra program has steadily grown — with additional camps in Brisbane, new themes each year, and even the launch of dedicated jazz camps.

TMCA represents the next step in that journey.

TMCA camps are delivered by the same experienced team behind the Toowoomba Regional Youth Orchestra — a long-running youth music organisation with a strong track record in ensemble training and event delivery.

The team includes experienced musicians, conductors, and educators who understand both the musical and welfare needs of young people.

Over the years, students have travelled from across regional and metropolitan Queensland to take part — with participants coming from areas such as Brisbane, Toowoomba, and further north.
